Cooking Time with Chef David

 All classes held Wednesday nights 6:30pm – 8pm Starting April 24th through May 15th

Must be able to attend all 4 sessions below.

Week 1: April 24^th 6:30pm- 8pm
Make your own sourdough starter. We will mix and make our own starter and learn how to care for it throughout the week. We will bring it back each week to check on its health and learn the next steps of breadmaking.



Week 2: May 1st  6:30pm- 8pm
Cheese making. Learn how to make your own ricotta cheese.

After making their cheese they will prepare a dish with the ricotta as the star of the dish.

Week 3: May 8th  6:30pm- 8pm
A cast iron feast. Learn how to make dinner using just a cast iron skillet.

Meal will include:
- steak and eggs
- wilted spinach
- cast iron sourdough toast

Week 4: May 15^th 6:30pm-8pm
The last class will focus on Roasting 101.

We will work on knife skills to peel, dice, chop, and prepare different vegetables for roasting. Learn about different textures and cook times, seasoning, and which vegetables work best as a roasted side.

Bonus,we can enjoy roasted vegetable bowls topped with homemade ricotta
